A new Selene 49 has reached Saint Petersburg in Russia. This Selene Classic Explorer has a more contemporary flair with the trendy lines of the new hardtop designed by Howard Chen. With its Flag Blue hull and a beautiful handmade teak interior, she will be a head turner in all European ports!
Perfectly equipped for world voyages
The owner had a single John Deere 230 HP engine installed, with a Yanmar 57 HP wing engine, Sidepower electric bow & stern thrusters, Trac underway stabilizers, Webasto reverse cycle air conditioning system, a Steelhead ES1000 davit and Onan 13.5 kW generator. This yacht is ready for ocean passages and will know no limits!
The standard Selene 49 Classic Explorer features the Deep-Hull™ design and Cruiser Stern™ which improves headroom in the engine room and lazarette and makes the hull highly efficient. The yacht has a very traditional “salty” look!
The salon is luxuriously finished in varnished teak. The two or three-stateroom accommodations down below are spacious, due to the full-hull sections forward. The master stateroom has a queen-size island berth with teak and holly steps on both sides, plus two large cedar-lined hanging lockers.

The Selene 49 is an excellent long-range cruising yacht. As the flagship of the smaller Selenes, the Selene 49 boasts a level of luxury normally only found on its larger sisters in the range, but all in an affordable package that’s easy to handle as a couple.
