Candy and Arina’s European Tour: From the Cannes Boat Show to Greece and Cyprus

This year, Selene Yachts proudly showcased the elegant Selene 7220 at the renowned Cannes Yacht Festival. The craftsmanship of Jet-Tern Marine and the stylish design by Guido de Groot were on full display, making the yacht a true standout at the show. Representing the Selene family, Candy and Arina joined our partners, including Louis from France, Ales from Slovenia, and Gary from New Zealand, in welcoming visitors aboard. Engaging in fruitful discussions with both yacht owners and prospective buyers, Candy and Arina sailed the Selene 7220, experiencing firsthand the yacht’s stunning performance and luxurious comfort. The yacht garnered significant attention and rave reviews from festival attendees.

After their successful participation in the boat show, Candy and Arina took the opportunity to spend two enchanting nights in Paris, soaking in the post-Olympics atmosphere. From the grandeur of the Louvre to the sparkling Eiffel Tower, they were captivated by the city’s charm, with the Winged Victory of Samothrace statue leaving a lasting impression. This iconic sculpture, a symbol of victory, holds special meaning for the Selene team, as Howard Chen has always considered it a representation of the pioneering spirit behind Selene Yachts.

Their adventure continued as they traveled to Greece and Cyprus, immersing themselves in the rich history and beauty of the region. In Athens, the birthplace of Selene, they visited the magnificent Parthenon Temple, a testament to Greek cultural heritage. This experience was made even more memorable when they were treated to a stunning view of the Parthenon at night, thanks to the generous hospitality of Mr. Rossetos, the owner of Selene 4946, and his wife. Alongside Cyprus dealer Mr. Demetris and his wife, they shared a wonderful dinner overlooking the illuminated temple, a golden beacon of history and grandeur.

The trip was not only a cultural delight but also an important opportunity to strengthen relationships with the Selene community in Europe. Candy and Arina returned with valuable insights and cherished memories, reaffirming the global connection and shared passion that defines Selene Yachts.
